I started at Access Radio in Nelson back in the early 90s, my job was to play songs and talk between the paid programmes. I used to play the local radio station on a little tranny in the studio and do what they did.

In 1993, I somehow blagged my way on to Classic Hits 89.8 in Nelson and hosted Saturday afternoons and Sunday nights. In 1995, I got my first full time job. Afternoon host and Copywriter at Radio Waitaki in Oamaru.

In 1996, I moved to Whangarei and a station called 93ZM. I stayed there until 1999, starting as Drive Host and leaving as Breakfast Host to Auckland and the ZM Network.

A few more years and it was across the hall to Classic Hits Nights and a 26 station nationwide night show before moving to Wellington in April 2007 to take over Classic Hits 90FM's breakfast show. In 2008, the show was networked into Kapiti and Horowhenua.

I'm 34 and married with three kids.
